The Life and Times of the Bartschi Family During January 2008
Whitney finished BKB for the South Fremont J.V. team. She had the opportunity to move up to Varsity until she informed the head coach she had no desire and wanted to play with her own team. Needless to say...she didn't move up but was forced to apologize to her coach for being too honest.
Blake scored 20 points at his game two weeks ago and not enough to win at his last game...he was then reminded if we are not good sports we stop athletics and move strictly into education and music. Blake is learning to become a better sport every day, especially when he knows the alternative...we love to hear him on the piano!!
Braydn started BKB and volleyball this month. She had her first tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah. They placed second overall. She was crazy excited. She is loving to play one on one with Blake while they wait for me after school, especially when she beats him and tears stream down his face...naughty, Braydn!
Kade has learned to play great defensive ball this winter. He scores pretty good, but running into him is like hitting a brick wall. We thought Paxton Orme was sick because they asked him to dress with Varsity...I thought we were hilarious, he finds no humor in our comments. Kade has also been texting a pretty girl from Utah...he likes the girls as long as they can accept the fact they are only one of many.
Britta is back to ISU. She is hoping not to be considered inactive this semester. She really did attend church, but it was with us not her college ward. Her missionary is gone and she is working hard in school and sports. Actually, there is a young man (his name is Spencer) who asked for her phone number while they were working out. He is a returned missionary, so she needs to shut him down RIGHT NOW, right?!
